POWER4 IS GENEROUS WITH GENERATORS

As part of Power4’s commitment to charities and the local community, it has donated a range of equipment to the ‘Linden’s Bigge Event’, which took place this weekend. This is the second time that Power4 has provided help to the Childrens Hope Foundation.

Power4, a specialist in the hire, sale and maintenance of generators, temporary power and lighting solutions has supplied the charity with a range of equipment including four generators as well as delivery and installation. The equipment powered the lighting, sound and music for artists such as Ronan Keating and Journey South in the Northumberland based event.

Although a relatively young charity, the Childrens Hope Foundation is already making major leeway in its aim to improve the quality of life for children and young people affected by illness, disability or poverty. Vivien Watts, Regional Executive of The Foundation comments: “In our endeavors to minimise difficulties and enhance opportunities for children, we rely upon the good will of individuals, companies and corporations as their assistance enables us to maximise our fundraising potential through events such as Linden’s Bigge Weekend Event. After working with Power4 on a similar event a few years ago, I didn’t hesitate to approach them after they were so keen to help last time. Once again, Power4 did us proud and supplied equipment generously to the cause.”

David Sanderson, Sales and Marketing Director of Power4 arranged the equipment for the foundation, remarks: “As a company, Power4 has a strong social conscience and is very interested in community, society and the environment. We feel strongly that disadvantaged young people and children should be given every opportunity available, and as such, we were more than happy to assist by donating our equipment and expertise.”
