2006 - following an incident at the Corus Steelworks in Scunthorpe, Power4 was mobilized to supply 800kVA of power. Within 2 hours of receiving the call the set was delivered, installed and was up and running to enable the Corus staff to restore power to the plant.

2006 - Following the start of the contract to upgrade a section of the M180 Motorway, Power4’s lighting expertise was called upon to illuminate the road works. Supplying 6 of Power4’s Mobile metal halide lighting towers, the motorway was a safer place for drivers and those carrying out the upgrades.
2006 – Site set up, Bowmer and Kirkland have chosen Power4 as a ‘preferred supplier’ for generators and ancillary equipment, the deal initially for 12 months with the option to extend was awarded after B K were impressed with the 30 years of experience of Power4 and its customer focused ethos.
2006 – UECC , the ferry Company; United European Car Carriers Limited, recently entrusted the overhaul and inspection of their on board generators to Power4. Two of Power4’s Service Engineers sailed with the ferry and carried out an inspection and report for the ferry company, enabling UECC to maintain their all important Lloyds Register Certification.
2006 – ‘Tricky Operation’ The South Tees Hospital Trust at their Friargate Hospital, Northallerton, are currently replacing their Standby Generators. To ensure that they have power in case of a mains outage, Power4 are suppling a 1250kVA generator throughout the change over period. Power4 worked closely with the Trust to ensure that the Generator was connected to their systems with a minimum of disruption and ensuring that the installation met all current electrical regulations. |
